How to Single Crochet In A Single Crochet Stitch |
Hi there,
Single crochet stitch is the most basic crochet stitch. It is also the basic stitch of the amigurumi toys.
In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to make a single crochet in a single crochet stitch.
If you are working in rounds, after you make the magic ring and finished the first round, you start 2nd round with making single crochet in a single crochet stitch.
And also if you are working in rows, after you finished the first row with making single crochet stitches into the chain, in the 2nd row you will start making single crochet in the single crochet stitches.
Now let's crochet together :)
Abbreviation:
sc : single crochet
1. The top of a single crochet stitch, looks like a braid which is formed by "V" shaped loops.
Insert your hook underneath the both loops of the braid.
2. Yarn over from back and pull the yarn through the stitch. Now you have 2 loops on your hook.
3. Yarn over from back again, and pull the yarn through the both loops on your hook.
And here is your single crochet. :)
